So let me get this straight... You think there are a lot of fans in the state of Texas that aren't fans of any school in Texas but would like college football enough to watch the SEC Championship? Keep dreaming Arky fan.

I'll slow this down for you; I forgot there are Auburn fans who have the site read to them here.

There are solid alumni bases for many SEC schools in Texas, moreso in the Dallas metro, arguably, than anywhere outside the traditional SEC footprint.

SEC fans travel well, on top of that-- Dallas is among the most accessible cities in the world, including low cost carrier flights.

Throw in the best venue possible for any game, and it becomes not only a logical case, but a compelling one for a rotating SEC CG.

If you leave Atlanta and start rotating my guess is the new ACC 14/16 will pounce on it and agree to make it their permanent location for a championship game. Tampa is so far from most ACC schools and their fanbases being what they are, the trip is too much for them, Atlanta would be a HUGE upgrade for them and they would certainly pay a lot for it.

Moving the game to Jerry World is stupid. Whether you SEC west people with short memories want it or not, the SEC still has an Eastern division and a trip to Dallas is a fricking long drive for EVERY East team. There is a reason the Cotton Bowl pretty much only takes teams from the SEC west.

NO and the superdome might be okay, but really, the Sugar bowl already has ties, and diversity is the spice of life.

Also as UF has not only won the most championships since expansion, and been to Atlanta the most often, you west teams bitching about your once every 6 year drive need to suck it up.
