A Big 12 guy at my church said OU would destroy either Bama or LSU. Your thoughts?

Not destroy, but it would be a game.

I think they could beat Bama but not LSU. Maybe in Norman. Maybe.

They're a good team, but I would take Bama or LSU every day.

heard this shite the last 2 times OU took a heavily favored worldbeater team, up against an SEC team in the MNC game. OU always looks great until they play an SEC team, or Boise

Go read the Rivals article that says "Oklahoma is a good team, but not a great time like LSU or Alabama."

Both LSU and Bama would beat OU based on what I've seen so far this year.

I watched OU - FSU and wasn't impressed with the OU offense. IMO both LSU and bama def would shut them down.

LSU or Bama would beat them handily. 14 points.

I'm serious.

They're ranked ahead of LSU and Bama because of Landry Jones. But as we've seen, they always put up gaudy numbers and then lay eggs in the bowl games. Not impressed by beating a middle of the road UCONN team like the pollsters are.

LSU and Bama are the two best teams in the country.

Oklahoma is a distant third.

OU will choke a game away at some point, its inevitable.

nobodys pulled off going unscathed being preseason #1 for a while...

If LSU hadn't beaten Oregon already, we'd have to hear the talking heads tell us how good they are. Take both against an untested Oklahoma team.

I wasn't impressed with Jones last night. He made the plays when he had to have them, but their offense was not what I'd call overwhelming.

Defensively...meh, they were alright. I think Bama or LSU would beat them by double digits.

anyone picking the "destroy" option in a game involving any of those 3 teams is a fricking moron.

regardless of the matchup it would be a low scoring blood bath

Well I think Jones is a very good quarterback. Regardless, I wasn't sold on FSU being ranked that high to begin with and so I'm left with the same questions I previously had for OU. They went into a hostile environment and won, but I can't say I was impressed with them the same way I was impressed with LSU and Bama thus far.
