Why exactly do you feel like its your mission to prove to Auburn fans they wouldn't have been as good LAST YEAR without their star QB? It's obvious to most of us that we wouldn't have had the season we had without him...

The argument is completely stupid though because he DID play for Auburn. yeah, there were a lot of unsung heroes on that team that didnt get attention but saying "you wouldn't have won without Cam" is just an attempt to belittle what they did. It's like saying "Your car wouldn't have won that race if it had no gas"... It's stupid and a childish reason to try to take the wind out of their sail IMO.

Here LSU is looking like world beaters this year and IMO has a great chance to take it to the house and you're worried about if AU would've won last year without Cam...

Awful analogy. A more accurate one would be "Your car would not have won that race without that illegal carburator."

The whole reason Cam wont go away is because if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and talks like a duck. Guess what it probably is. Auburn's attitude of "you cant prove it" instead of "we did nothing wrong" has done just as much to flame this issue over the past year as Cecil's church renovations. Bottom line is Cam newton is not a likable person. He is concieted, selfish and dishonest. I use Bo Jackson as a reference in the Cam discussion all the time. He was as big a thorn in BAMA's side when he played at Auburn. When he was a player, BAMA fans hated him because he was running all over us. We hated to see him get the Hiesman because it was props for Auburn. We hated to see him on magazine coveers for those same reasons. BAMA fans who dont admitt this are probably not being honest or have faded memories because in the end we respected BO for the athlete he was and the success his ability was able to achieve. Almost every BAMA fan I know talks about BO in a positive light now because he is a likable person of integrity. He is one of the most beloved athletes to play in this state by everyone. My roomate at Alabama even had the BO holdng the baseball bat over his shoulder pads poster in the room (he caught hell from me for it)but even then I knew BO was badass. Cam will never have this kind of regard or respect because of the person he is. The part that makes the rest of the college world disguted at Auburn is the fact that AU turned their backs on the fact that Cam is moraly bankrupt because he gave them what no one else could. AU chose to sell out their integrity and ethics to keep up with BAMA and finally win that #1. They sold their souls to dance with the Newton's and now it's time to pay the band.
