AU is much tougher to get into than UA. AU has a higher acceptance rate but that is driven by the fact that we have a smaller # of folks applying than Alabama, and there are a lot of folks with low scores trying to get into UA, who don't even apply to AU.

Think about this: AU has a higher incoming freshman class GPA/ACT than UA, AND has a much higher acceptance rate. Assuming that UA is accepting the top x% of their class and AU is doing the same, this tells us that the average applicant to AU is simply smarter than the average applicant to UA. But tell us something we didn't know.

Your post doesn't reflect the results shown in the survey. While we all would like to think the institutions we graduated from are second to none, don't bring fan "homerism" into this. It makes you look like a Special Olympian - which judging from your post may be true.

Lmao. When in doubt, deflect. Sorry your school was once again outclassed by UA in the one academic measure that matters: USNWR. Get over it.
