Agree on this. DJ or Wingo are both capable of putting up some great numbers. The LSU ranters on here don't seem at all concerned about Kragthorpe stepping down. While he might not be in Petrino's class of calling plays, he was an upgrade from what they had, and they were making progress with the O. I have some LSU friends who are a bit more rational than the ranters, and they seem very concerned that Miles will now be running the Tiger O. They seem to think that he will run run run, and play to the level of the opposing team. However the Tiger ranters say everything is just splendid and LSU will be great...blahblahblah, etc. If Kragthorpe is really still able to be heavily invovled with helping the QB's and the O, they might be right. Considering how powerful Parkinson's is, I just don't see this being the case.

This has been discussed by the coaching staff and team on the radio all week. Coach Stud will call the plays on gameday. Kragthorpe will have a heavy hand in the offensive schemes and game planning and Miles will have authority to overrule plays just like any normal head coach. I work with a former player who was an All-SEC offensive lineman on the 2007 National Championship team. He still talks to the coaches and players and from talking to him about the situation, I feel just as confident as I did before the announcement was made about Kragthorpe stepping down.

He is the head coach so he has input.

Not a bad idea.

Wait, who are the ranters in this scenario?

He will be.

They are.

1. i doubt you have any LSU friends
2. your supposed LSU "friends" are not well informed if they think Miles is running the O all by himself
c. even if he is...Miles has been an OC before
