I could start my own blog and assign stars based on my personal opinion and it would be just as relevant as Rivals.

Yeah, no. Once again look at the best most consistent CFB teams recently and check their recruiting. They're pretty much all up there.

I've seen this one too many times, it's because Arkansas returns a ton. PRe-season lists go on experience more than anything and that's something Arkansas returns more of than most teams in the SEC. Post-season lists are way, way more indicative of talent after the course of a year. Of course in general they won't put a talented newcomer over a productive 2-3 year starter on a pre-season list.

Arkansas's talent level is right up there with anyone in this conference.

I think the depth still isn't there, but that's the biggest difference in say LSU/Bama/etc and an Arkansas. Some quality starters for sure, not as much quality depth as those teams who recruit better though. I also think Arkansas' defensive talent just doesnt compare all-around with those elite schools, hence why Arkansas generally hasn't been a defensive powerhouse.

It's cause you have to have talent on the defensive side of the ball. To be elite. Period.
The one-trick pony has worked with 3 stars on offense. So far anyways.

So, based on you logic then a team that lost every game the year before but return all 22 starters will be highly ranked the next year? Help us understand that rationale.
