Just finished watching this video LINK .

Holy shite...
This guy has bad luck.
Having to backup Jim Kelly at Miami, while they also had Bernie Kosar and Testervere.

Then getting to Denver and having to compete with Elway and Kubiac.

Then getting to Miami and having to compete with Marino...

clarification. He has bad luck as a player.

And now he is one of the winningest coaches in the SEC with no NC.

Then guiding one of the best offensive teams of the 90s and winning 2 national titles. Then being a head coach at a top 15 national program, winning SEC titles and BCS games and making millions a year. Yeah, he's had some stuff go wrong, but I think

is a little overstatement.

Richt also had a lot of good luck early in his coaching career due to the fact that Steve Spurrier quit to coach the Redskins after Richt's first year because he was burnt out due to the unbelievably high expectations and standards that he had set. The Gators were left stuck with Ron Zook and subsequently, Georgia was able to win the SEC East the next two years.

I thought this was going to be a thread about injured offensive linemen.

Made sense to me.

There was a funny story about his recruitment. He committed to Miami and then later got word through the grapevine (this was pre-recruiting coverage) that a phenom from Pennsylvania named Jim Kelly had also committed.

When Richt called the Miami coaches to ask what was up, they said, don't worry that kid isn't a good QB and we're going to move him to safety.

LOL - the ol' Jevon Snead - Tim Tebow trick actually worked on Richt.
