I am moving not far from Baton Rouge next week and i was curious of the best restaurants and places to visit?

You're better off posting this on the OT or Tiger Rant. I've been out of BR for awhile so i'm sure there are so great new places.

if you have visitors come into town, tell them to stay at Staring Inn on Staring/Essen. best hotel in town.

True,but the guy should at least get the McDonald's on Plank Road or another establishment in Scotlandville.
The Denny's on Airline at I-12 is awesome.

The food and drink board on this site is actually one of the better ones in the state. Currently they have a best of 225 (Baton Rouge's area code) vote going on, you'll probably pick up quite a bit of information from that.

ruffinos is good for food
I liked Louisiana Lagniappe as well
theres not much to visit besides TS, campus, and the casinos
Tiger cage is pretty cool, if you have rugrats they'll enjoy that.
