Asked why some UA players may have frequented the store, McElroy said: "Tom can always see from his store into the mall, he can see people as they walk by because of where his counter is located, so I'm sure he calls out. ... They go in there because they're walking through the mall. You go into shops. You look around. There is nothing corrupt about it."
So he calls them to come into his store and come in his office and hang out ? That's a little weak of an explanation especially when there's pics of Julio having a girl sitting in his lap in the office with Tom. Or he guys can you come in here and sign this stuff for me. Oh and how can i forgot hey Trent do you wanna go out to dinner with me tonight.

So the argument every one has said it they players did not know the merchandise they were signing was going to be sold. As you said MOST people take a picture if they want proof but instead im guessing they say here sign this certificate so i can display it with my merchandise. Not to mention if the guy had a camera to take a pic to post it online im sure he could take a pic to prove he signed it.
Also
Vice memorabilia was selling signed Richardson and McCarron jerseys that were said to have been signed 9-3-2010 which is the same date Richardson signed the jerseys for tom. They have already admitted Tom was selling merchandise and now those particular items have been pulled for the website. So im guessing after Trent left the clothing store he just happened to run into Mr Vice and sign jerseys for him also.

Interesting picture here from memorabilia dealer of an autographed Richardson helmet. Under the helmet it a certificate of authenticity with Richardson name printed and then another named signed on it. The dealer is either making it seem as Richardson signed the certificate or either he actually did. The other link shows similar signed paper with a cam autographed helmet if you look at the other memorabilia he has these are the only ones with that particular certificate of authenticity.

Similar helmet from the same dealer with certificate appearing to be Cams signature

The C& D letter was sent in December of 2010 regarding him using merchandise of current athletes but if you look in the background of this picture dated 1-26-2011 you can see jerseys of McCarron and Nico still displayed in the window. So seems like either Tom did not obey the letter or perhaps there is more to the story

Also has jerseys signed by McCarron, and McElroy that are dated 9-3-2010

This is ironic that this jersey was signed 9-3-2010 the same day Richardson was signing jerseys for his "friend" tom.

Question what player is this guy in the picture ?
LINK
The reason i ask it shows the guy paying him for the autograph. I was not sure if it was an older player or who exactly he was.

Your right he was using the autographs to generate more business for his store. This is no different than bars or restaurants having different specials or themes nights etc.. as business promotions. Regardless of what comes of this you can say Tom has done a great job of promoting his business. For all we know he sent the stuff to Clay Travis to promote his business.

If you read the Tuscaloosa news article yesterday it said the same thing. It said that the C&D letter made specific reference to the guy selling and distributing signed merchandise. The article said Alabama asked him to stop selling and distributing signed merchandise by current student Athletes. I am not trying to flame but doesn't that prove a violation of the bylaw. The debate was did the guy profit from having the merchandise in his store correct? I do believe many people had post the other day saying similar things that it was not like he was selling the merchandise etc... Well now they are pretty much admitting that he was profiting from past and current players correct?
