Any rationale for these predictions?

I mean, you have an SEC team that's capable of winning 9 games (your prediction) losing to Boise State in Atlanta. You can beat South Carolina's most talented team of all time. You'll go to Ole Miss and win - no problem there - but then you get Miss State at home and lose.

You can go to Knoxville and win, lose to Florida, and beat Auburn.

Any thoughts to back this up?

It's tough to see us losing the first two games of the year. Plus, I could really see Boise's DL giving us fits. Poor running game against Boise = close game, but them getting revenge for 2005.

I think we match up better with South Carolina this year than last. Assuming Jenkins/Geathers proves to be formidable at NT and Tyson improves by moving to his more natural position at DE in 3-4, then Lattimore will struggle finding running room. On offense, Bobo was terrified last year w/ his freshman QB missing AJ Green. Tavarres King and Orson Charles are weapons and I think we can take advantage of it.

I can't see us losing to Ole Miss in 2011, barring injury to Murray.

I'm guessing by Miss St our thin positions will have been hit by some attrition. If any of our OL, RB, MLB, or S get banged up, then things get interesting. Plus, it's following two early physical games and our longest trip of season to Oxford.

I feel like Tennessee and Tyler Bray are getting a little too much credit from some. They're the 4th best team in the East, in my opinion. Murray had no problem disposing of them last year and we're due a big game in Knoxville. Our secondary should be above average and DL should be able to contain Poole if it comes on like it I think it will.

Honestly, we could lose just as easily to UT as we could Miss St. I just have a hard time seeing us survive both.

Auburn lost a ton off last year's championship team and their D couldn't stop us in the first half with them. Plus, the players are convinced AU played dirty last year, so they're will be the motivation/revenge/defending national champ factor.
