Had a hunch so I dropped by Texags for a minute. Literally a minute and found this
let me go ahead and ask the question that everyone is thinking...did Carolina basically play for the national title in their first game against the maroon-n-white?
No one played them closer than the Ags and, gulp, no one actually had a sizeable lead over Carolina (for a little while) other than the Ags
