Not even close. He DID take us to a bowl game, and there are a lot of SEC coaches that haven't done that.

I don't think he was a good coach, he was just not the worst. If he changed just one thing--not be so stubborn on running HIS offense--then we could have been fairly successful under him. Plus, Croom insisted on recruiting smaller but quicker offensive linemen to block in a power running game.

Close, but believe it or not there are worse. Curly Hallman and Ed O, for example, never had an 8-5 season and never made a bowl game.

Curly literally is the worst coach in LSU history, and a very good contender for worst in SEC history. The man was god awful.

Coach O disagress with this statement.

At Ole Miss, Orgeron recorded only two wins against teams with a winning record (Memphis State), lowest among then-active SEC coaches. In 2007, OM finished the season 0-8 in the conference and 3-9 overall. It was Ole Miss's first winless campaign in the SEC since 1982.

After blowing a 14-point fourth-quarter lead to in-state rival Mississippi State in the season's last game, Orgeron was fired as head football coach of Mississippi.

Career totals 10-25 total; 3-21 in the SEC
