thanks for the map. That's crazy Tejas doesn't allow open-carry.....that's the gun-toting, cowboy capital of the world. I wonder what the rural OC for cali means? I'm sure they're very strict about that, maybe on your own ranch or something. Do you know what the difference between Gold Star OC and OC friendly is?

From what I understand you can OC in Cali but the pistol has to be unloaded and the cops are allowed to stop you and check that it is unloaded.

I'm not completely sure but they said Alabama didn't get the Gold Star b/c you're not allowed to OC in your car without a permit
