Seeing the Ole Miss thread got me to wondering when the last time of each SEC school was that they did not make a bowl, NCAA Tourney, NCAA Regional....

Arkansas: 1997
Basketball-NIT
Baseball-Nada
Football-Sucked

NIT is post-season I suppose, so Arkansas is 1975

I'm gonna guess 2008 for Auburn. Too lazy to look, but it seems like we were shite in all three if my memory serves me.

1996 for us. Since then, baseball has saved us when the others failed.

Academic year it was 1981-1982. Went to the Orange Bowl following the 1982 football season(1982-1983). Went to the NCAA tournament in 1984 (1983-1984 season.)

We did this thread a month or so ago. As I remember it, going by academic year, State's last was just last year (2009-10)--State went 5-7 in football (with the most difficult schedule in the NCAA), the NIT in basketball (should have gone to the NCAA's instead of Florida), and didn't sniff anywhere close to the NCAA's in baseball.

By calendar year, State goes all the way back to the mid 1980's. Since every calendar year is covered for 25ish years, I guess that also means all academic years other than 2009-10 would go back that far, too.

Honestly you would know better than me. I was born in '83.

Just trying to find when the teams didn't go to the postseason listed.

If we are talking post-season in general, and not just limiting it to NCAA tourneys or bowls, I believe Arkansas would be sometime in the early 80's, but maybe not though....

1975 would be the last time Arkansas has not had a big 3 team make any type of post-season....that is including our basketball NIT of 1997 though.

Well, then LSU did play in the NIT in 1981-1982 and calendar 1983.

1976-1977 academic year would be last time no bowl, NCAA's in football or basketball. Sun Bowl in 1977 ,so for "year" it would be 1976.
