Since I don't have a lot of hope for the foods thread...after Louisiana it's basically fried chicken and biscuits throughout the south...I thought it'd be easier for everyone to define their states by their liquors.
For example:
Louisiana: Hurricane, Abita, the Sazerac Cocktail, and my personal favorite, the Ramos Gin Fizz.
Kentucky would be the Mint Julep, Tennessee would be Jack Daniels, etc.
As far as the rest of the SEC, fill in the blanks:
Alabama: __________
Arkansas: _________
Florida: ___________
Georgia: ____________
Kentucky: _____________
Mississippi: ___________
South Carolina: _________
Tennessee: ________

Bourbon for Kentucky. Mint Juleps in particular this time of year.

You got a link that shows it developed in KY, as opposed to GA?

The mint julep was invented in Kentucky by senator Henry Clay, uses Bourbon exclusively and is the official drink of the Kentucky Derby...

It's cool man. I just have to protect the traditions of this fine state.

If Arkansas isn't the posterchild for moonshine then I don't who is.

All good man, I would do the same. I wish the White Russian had been invented in Louisiana, but then it would be called something else.

Us or Tennessee. There was a fine gentleman of Madison county heritage at Roger's Rec one night who allowed me to sample a mason jar of corn liquor.
It might as well have been lighter fluid. Hell it might have been.
