In the past 8 years, probably so. I wouldn't look for that trend to continue though, not with MA at the helm.

No you're not, because right now, Miss St is not a Major baseball program in the SEC.

Maybe not in the past years, but over the past 50 years I'll put our track record/resume against any baseball program in America not named LSU.

Thanks for proving our fricking point. Miss State baseball will be back really soon. We're making strides this year. Hell should have beat the Hogs twice at their place. We're young & getting there.

The best Ms. State has ever finished was 3rd place in Omaha, once, a feat Arkansas has done twice with a runner-up appearance to go along with it...

Ms. State has not won the SEC since 1989, something we have done twice since then, 99 and 04.

MSU earned SEC Championships in 1948, 1949, 1965, 1966, 1970, 1971, 1979, 1985, 1987, and 1989, and SEC Tournament Championships in 1979, 1985, 1987, 1990, 2001, and 2005. State has also earned appearances in 28 NCAA Baseball Regionals and made it to the College World Series 8 times, finishing as high as 3rd in 1985. Between 1992 and 2003, a Bulldogs pitcher was selected in the first round of the MLB draft 6 times.

Shhhhhhhh!!!

How many World Series have you been to since 1990? Try 2. How many SEC Tournament Titles do you have? Try 0.

Except I didn't, I gave you a reason why that trend won't continue. All you did is say that MSU's losing trends won't continue, but no reason why it won't.

Oh yeah, and another thing you will never beat MSU at. SEC weekend games typically draw the largest crowds, giving rise to huge weekend gatherings. Mississippi State currently holds the NCAA record for the largest single game on-campus baseball attendance at 14,991 and the largest SEC crowd for a 3-game weekend series at 29,915. In 2007 versus the Clemson Tigers, MSU had the NCAA's top two all-time highest attended Super Regional games with 12,620 and 13,715 fans.

Mississippi State has all of the top 14 and 22 of the top 25 on-campus crowds in the history of college baseball, including 9 crowds over 12,000 and 24 crowds over 10,000.

I'm a baseball fan and have heard of only Maholm and Moreland. Maholm is the best starter on a shitty trash (aka he sucks) and Moreland platoons for the Rangers.

Impressive.

They played at State in the mid 80's and MLB in the late 80's through the 90's. I grew up watching guys like Will Clark and Raffy play.

Who do you Hogs have other than LEE??????

Clark is almost 50. Again, that puts your argument in its proper context. Just "off the top of my head" Eric Hinske and Craig Gentry are in MLB and you will soon see 1st rounder Zack Cox and 2nd rounder Brett Eibner there as well. When was the last time State had anybody drafted in the top two rounds?

Hold up, let me get this straight. When discussing Basketball, you guys choose 10-15 years, but when discussing baseball you guys choose 50 years.
