The final quote sums it up nicely:

That's why in recruiting character/attitude is every bit as important as talent. Basically, Russell got his guaranteed 31 million and now he's not willing to earn it.

I know he is happy with all his money, but the guy hasn't done anything right since leaving the LSU campus.
