06 LSU didn't make the SEC CCG (because they played Florida in the regular season) and thumped Miami in the Peach Bowl
05 we lost and dropped to the peach and destroyed da u
06 les and staff choked the auburn game away while jruss purple drank and all didnt give a frick about the uf game costing us that. then we went on a roll and ended up in the sugar after usc choked costing us a rose bowl.

sorry, had my years backwards obviously
Doesn't change anything tho... both years ended with no SEC Championship and a thumping of a name program in a bowl
So, in the vein of the thread I don't see a major difference
