Also, AU saved themselves from being the worst team of the decade by playing pretty good team d and not quitting on their coach or on the season despite losing so much.

I still think we should have been in the tourney over a couple teams, UAB being the foremost of them. The way this tournament has gone so far this year, I think Bama getting as far as the sweet 16 is looking like it would have been a lot more possible that it looked a few weeks ago. We sucked the first half of the season, but thats called improving as a team over a season, and should have been factored into the decision more.
But if if's and but's were candy and nuts, we'd all have a mouth full of cavities.

When I went to boulder for the game this year, we went out to their bars on Friday night. I kid you not about every 200 yards or so there was a real-life, just like in the movies drum circle. Kids with greasy hair pulled into pony tails sitting in a circle and playing bongos.

Good luck to Alabama. Since the NCAA has kicked around the idea of 're-seeding' at the Final Four, now that the NCAA 'owns' the NIT, I'm surprised they didn't move Alabama and Colorado to face the other teams since they come in as 1 seeds.
