I'm going to disagree with you here. It was an intelligent and fully legitimate play that saved possession for his team. Up to that point, things had been getting pretty rough under the basket, with both OSU and UK players dishing it out. He made a statement to his opponents loud and clear. I think OSU realized that, their record and #1 seed and the SECs "down" year be damned, this SEC team had come to play.

Turning point in the game, IMO.
