I was at the game. The refs had tight whistles the entire game. Both teams were in the bonus with 13 min left in the second half. Warren did a good job driving the ball knowing he is a great Free throw shooter but don't act like the refs were tight on you and not on us because both teams had a shite ton of fouls.

On the play that Grant got the tech, it was a foul on the driver (Not sure who it was) and it should have been called and I understand his frustration but he had already been given the been warning and Warren missed 1 of the free throws any way. It only cost yall 1 point.

The TO grant was given on the loose ball was a terrible call. The ball was rolling on the floor away from everyone when he called for the TO, but the only difference was there was a missed shot and we got the rebound so it didn't matter that much.

Over all it was a well played game by both teams and very exciting. I just wish we hadn't of choked against MSU and USCe.

Good post HottyToddy, I wasn't as frustrated with no calls on ole miss just frustrated with the driving touches that result in 2 points. I agree Warren did a great job of taking advantage of that. I just have a problem with 7 fouls being the 1 and 1. It should be at least 10. If you have both teams shooting free throws on over the backs 94 feet from the goal and shooting free throws on every touch foul then there is a problem with the rules. That is why the refs have so much influence of the game. Hell if duke played at ole miss and they got whistled for a foul every time warren drove they would have a rough time (however we know that would never happen for duke). When a team is in the bonus with that much time to play it is impossible to play tough D. A lot of time people say "oh your a Bama homer or u mad cause Bama choked or whatever". Yeah it definitely is more frustrating when your team is the one NOT getting the calls i admit that. But I am fully aware of the games in which we are the beneficiary of the whistles. Auburn being the biggest example and even game 1 with yall. We reached a lot that game and were hardly ever whistled. I thought the UT-state game was well officiated. They both shot the same amount of free throws basically and what do you know, the road team actually had a chance
