The thing about clerks siphoning off a hundred grand or so and no one knows how they did it until they get caught is different because they don't just take a couple hundred grand all at once. They usually take a little here and there over the course of time and eventually they get popped. When you talk about paying a player or his family 6 figures, I would think payments would come in large sums like a couple payments of 50 or 60k.

A school could come up with a couple hundred grand from a collection of many different sources and it wouldn't raise any red flags. The problem of hiding it is always gonna be on the receiving end.

Like you said if something is rotten eventually it will come out. I gotta stop now before I get sucked into the tin foil lunacy.
