I wonder what the point of calling an ex-Bama player a former LSU recruit is? If he was good enough to play in at Bama he was probably recruited by 20 or 30 big time programs.

He was committed to LSU before switching to Bama.

More than likely just a feeble attempt to widen the net of intrigue for their faithful followers, of which I am not.

Kid was from Port Barre. . .of course LSU recruited him.
