It would be the 2nd smartest move our basketball program has ever made. The smartest was hiring him to begin with. Whatever sanctions he gets will pass. Then he will go right on building this program into a monster. He is a proven winner, anyone we could get to replace him would be an unknown.

It would be a big unknown whether or not he could succeed after being suspended. This isn't like the past where Adolph Rupp could come back from his team getting the death penalty and still succeeding. If Pearl is suspended, he's not going to get things on track while he's at Tennessee, at least not for a long time.
