You didn't have to say it, I said it on the last page that we lose an UGA at least once a decade

fine, prayer vigil, rally, whatever you want to call it it was still the act of showing up for a memorial service

As for an online guestbook, it can be construed as the same except for having to make the effort to write (in some cases draw) a poem or note and physically walk or drive to a select location to tie or tape it to the memorial
