championships from the 20's. How come we have not been previledged to any news articles or videos of the "students rolling Toomers" in 1983 when Bear Bryant died?

IF there are any to share, i'd love to read about them.

There are NONE... I have looked... It is a Bama myth.. An Urban Legend in their own mind... they have told it enough that most of them believe it...

Because that claim is a LIE. I was a SR in college in '83 and can assure you with my warped memory for trivia, that would be something I reacall rather easily.

I can tell you with certainty that the rolling of toomers didn't happen after the Bear's death living in Auburn at the time. I was too young to since I was in grade school at the time but my dad who is a Bama fan who went to Alabama drove by there every day on his way to work and he's said he would have noticed and would have been POd if the students had done that.
