Alabama usually has 60% or better of in-state recruits. It just didn't in 2011. It will be quite the opposite in 2012.

I'm just glad we don't have to compete with AU for most of our recruits....i'm sure bama will get most of who they want, but it AU is not going to make it easy for you this year

In states like Alabama and Louisiana with relatively small population bases the percentages will tend to fluctuate more than for the large population centers like Florida, Texas, Georgia and California. Louisians looks like it won't produce quite as many next season while Alabama'a numbers will be up. Both coaching staffs have shown the ability to reach outside their respective states and pull in what they need.
