You have 30 right now if you include Clowney, not counting the EEs that count back to last year. That means 2 of the 30 will not be allowed to sign LOIs. Then, you can only enroll 25 this fall, so there are 3 that will either have to not qualify, gray shirt or just suck it up and not enroll.

The 29 against us this year includes the verbals of Cooper and Mauldin, who may not commit afterall. That would leave us with 27, and Clowney would make 28. That means 3 kids would have to go without scholly. Most coaching staffs who do this know the players well enough to know which ones will even qualify, and who is willing to grayshirt/walk on.
