Franchione following 31-0 loss in 2002. Precipitated by the fake Saban locker room speech that was written by a blogger and subsequently circulated on th internet the week prior to the Bama game.

When any rival fans want us to start criticizing Saban or feel we should be disappointed in anything he is doing, please watch this to realize what a fricking pathetic miserable road we as Alabama fans walked before he came to us.
I get a chuckle out of it now - but OH BOY - did that little run of jackass decisions just about kill Alabama fans.

I remember that very well. That was the highest peak for Fran. shite the bed against Auburn the following week and has barely been relevent since.

I thought that "Saban said nasty things" was proven to be an internet hoax and the person responsible admitted it and apologized.
At least that was the talking points from LSU fans after the incident.
