I am glad he is staying. I am proud that he is the coach at LSU.
He has heart, dignity, and sees that his job is more than just winning football games (not to underestimate the need to win), but knowing that simply winning isn't the whole story.
I appreciated the respect and honor he gave to his alma mater, and I certainly don't blame him for listening to Michigan and giving it consideration. Sometimes you don't fully appreciate what you have until you actually look at other opportunities that come along. Sometimes you need to look afresh at a position and other opportunities to reenergize your passion and committment to the position that you already hold. I think that is exactly what Les did. In looking at Michigan, he realized he is home where he is now, at LSU.

I think he used his alma mater to get an extension and nothing more. He was never serious about going back there and strung them along to get more from LSU. Michigan should never deal with him again imo.
