No idea.

Auburn has been able to eventually get there yards and score on the entire SEC. No lead has been safe. They have played some very good defenses with multiple different attempts at stopping Newton. Nobody has done it.

Oregon has a good defense. I don't know enough about them to comment other than that the defense stats say they are good but not great. They get QB pressure. This is a good thing but may not help against Auburn.

Here are the things Oregon has going for them that other Auburn opponents haven't had:

1. Oregons defense will not be surprised or impressed by the Malzahn no huddle. Nobody plays faster then Oregon. There defense will not struggle with the no huddle fast break style that Auburn employs. Auburns execution may get them...but the frantic pace won't be an issue. Nobody else in the country can say that.

2. Auburn has not to this date faced an offense as good as Oregons. If the Auburn defense plays against Oregon like they played in the first half of the Bama game...Oregon will score 50 on them in the first half. Oregon will stay on the gas until the end of the game. They play at a fast pace and I am not sure if the barn has the depth to deal with that. Put it this way...if Auburn gets down by 3 TDs in this game there will be no comeback.

It is a very intriguing matchup. My brain says Auburns run defense stalls the Oregon offense...they get a first half lead and win because they just trade scores the whole second half.

But it would not shock me for the Oregon D to get a couple stops in the first half (happened to Auburn multiple times) and the same thing happen the opposite way...Oregon first half lead stays as they trade scores in the second half.

Only thing I am certain of is that their will be ZERO defense played in the 4 th quarter of this game.
