Does 1 Win Vs. an SEC Team Redeem 1-9 and the Conference?

Don't get me wrong, I was rooting for Arky and am still not sure why they didn't pick up that punt and walk in for the win but I'm kind of glad tOSU got off the snide.
Next year or next time we face them with something on the line they'll be feeling a little more cocky so it'll be a little sweeter to kick em back down to size.
HOWEVER, ALL RDavis and the Gameday geniuses could say was you 'FINALLY beat the SEC' and 'redeemed the whole conference' and its like none of those other EPIC beat downs ever happened....
WTH???

Let me ask you a question: do you remember what happened in the January 1st bowl games in 2007 or 2008? Or do you only remember that LSU and UF kicked the snot out of OSU.

No especially since Arky truly gave that game away. I don't use that term hardly at all, but I never seen a team work so hard to lose.

Actually I went to a gathering that was predominantly tOSU fans for the (2006) 07' NCG and was ALL for tOSU just because I was born and raised to HATE UF.
HOWEVER, the IDIOCY and AROGANCE of tOSU folks pre-game actually made me LAUGH OUTLOUD for the ENTIRE NIGHT (after the opening kick of course when tOSU folks just knew it was going to be a blow-out for tOSU) you Buckeyes and your inferiority complex is what makes it fun to kick the snot out of THEosu.
I'm glad you could beat the worst bowl team in the history of the SEC, now ust win the next EIGHT and you'll be .500 All Time!

Basically.
It was so funny. I worked with about 10 Buckeyes and was at a house with about 10 More. I told everyone for weeks that I hoped tOSU would beat UF but the 'hype' that UF should stay home and go to the beach might be a little 'misguided'.
I was called an SEC Homer, Idiot, and of all insults a couple of them called me 'gator boy' - When your boy ran back the opening kick my Nextel lit up so much it almost broke. "where's your SEC Speed?" SEC Sucks, We're gonna destroy the SEC, blah blah blah.
I kid you not, I told them that with only .27 off the clock they might be a little pre-mature in claiming victory and it was like "awe, the poor SEC guy can't admit defeat..."
Within 10 minutes it seemed all those guys with the Nextels had change services or their batteries were dead or something... By the third QTR almost all of THEosu folks had 'something come up' and me and the other SEC guy there (an Auburn fan) sat back and enjoyed a very quiet house (except for us laughing) for the rest of the game.
It was classic.
