LOL...that's all I had to see. Pot meet kettle. Ole Miss fans have the worst case of "I'm better than you" than any fanbase in the nation (outside of texas). This is too funny.
Dude, you're still doing it. You say "pot meet kettle" but you don't even fricking know who the kettle is. You're taking the average Ole Miss fan and assuming that's me. I'm not the average Ole Miss fan. fricking get over it.

first of all, cursing really helps your arguement fwiw. sounds like i really got to you...which makes me happy.
secondly, calling my fanbase "simpletons" unable to "comprehend" makes you an "average Ole Miss fan." So yes, you do have a case of the elitism disease.

What are you, somebody's grandmother? I curse in just about every post I type so get over it. Cursing isn't any sort of indicator or, well, anything despite what crotchety old white protestants want you to believe.
And I think most people on this planet are "simpletons" who have comprehension issues, regardless of fan base. I think most Ole Miss fans, for that matter, are tragically stupid. So, really, that doesn't prove anything about my fanhood.

LSU is widely known as having one of, if not the best, gameday atmospheres in the nation. I guess I struck a nerve with the Ole Miss fans

if you look throughout the thread, we're not the only fanbase who thinks your tailgating is "over-rated."

Indeed.
I still really like LSU's campus and tailgating, I just find it to be wholly different from what I'm used to.

True, but there are also fans of other schools who love it... and ESPN, and CNN, and Sports Illustrated, and The New York Times.

again...they have ND, Army, and Tenn listed too. And that's a travesty if you've ever "tailgated" there.

Its hilarious. Everyone from my highschool that went to Ole Miss got rejected from all the other sec schools and had to "settle" for Ole Miss. I've always viewed it as the reject school.

That's nice. I didn't go there bc I had to, I went bc I wanted to and my parents did. My degrees will also disagree with you...

Im not saying thats the case for everyone, but its not uncommon for people to go to Ole Miss because they couldnt get into the other SEC schools. A lot of people I know that didnt get into Tennessee went to Ole Miss, and the same goes for several people I know in Louisiana that didnt get into LSU, so they went to Ole Miss.

Based on what I have been to it's this
1. Auburn
2. Uga
3. Lsu
4. Alabama
5. Ole miss
6. Vandy
7. South Carolina
8. Tennessee
9. Florida
gainsville was the only town I actually didn't like though. All the others had something great about them.

The scenery is boring...and the people are lame at MSU campus.

I got into Vanderbilt and still went to Ole Miss. What now?

And that's for people from out of State. Within the Ole Miss community, there's a pretty significant schism between Mississippians who go to Ole Miss and out-of-staters who go to Ole Miss. That isn't to say that Mississippians hate all of the out-of-state students (one of my best friends in school was from Atlanta), but there's definitely a rift there between the "we came here because it means something to us and always has" and the "we came here because UGA and Texas didn't want us but hey that's okay all we wanna do is get wasted anyway" crowd.
When you look at the dumb shite that goes on at Ole Miss - the TSWRA stuff, Michael Hudec, brosephs passing out at the Levee - you'll see that a disproportionate amount of that shite is the result of dumb out-of-staters. And, until the government of Mississippi is no longer run by incompetent, delusional, moronic turds (that'll never happen), such will always seemingly be our (and State's, but to a lesser extent because Starkville sucks so out-of-state kids want to come to Ole Miss AMIRITE!?!) burden to carry.

bullshite. No one in their right mind would pass up Vanderbilt for Ole Miss.

I couldn't afford Vanderbilt's tuition without taking heavy loans and was offered a full ride on academic scholarships at Ole Miss. It's not that much of a stretch.
ETA: You'd be surprised at some of the students who turn down more elite private schools for Ole Miss because of financial issues and a desire to stay close to home. It's really not as uncommon as you'd think.
