If you remember, the so called EXPERTS said the same thing about TOM BRADY...

The difference is that Tom Brady (when he had the chance to play) was still a solid QB at Michigan. Locker has been flat-out bad at times. His accuracy needs a lot of work.

It's also not a good comparison. Unlike Brady, Locker has been given the opportunity to prove what he can do in college and he's been unspectacular. On top of that, it's very doubtful that Locker's mental make-up is as good as Brady's. I'm not saying he can't be a good starting QB, but from what I've seen, it's very, very doubtful. For every Brady that has made it in the league, there are 100 QBs that never make it.

I would definitely take Newton over Locker. Newton has as much athletic potential as Locker but makes less mistakes and has shown the ability to handle pressure while carrying a team on his back.

Locker over Cam for pro potential.

Cam's going to make a great tight end or DE though.

I feel what you're saying and i agree...maybe that was a "not so good" comparison..but,the point i was really trying to make is that we cannot judge an athletes college career to what he might turn out to be on the NFL level..we as fans see that all the time...guys we've never heard of become pro bowlers & HOFers and big name athletes bomb out...
