Hell, I don't know. He died when I was about 6 years old. Since he was never caught cheating, I'm going to say he didn't. What was cheating in the 60's anyway? I don't know. I know people bitch about him signing so many players, but that was completely within the rules back then. Don't fault the guy for excelling at the game.

Me too. I remember how big of a deal it was and watching it on the news. One of those memories from childhood that sticks with you.
