Coordinators that are currently HC in BCS games.
I am sure that has happened before...any examples?

Parkjas, Petrino was in Louisville in '03. That was the year of "Nallsminger". However, Chizik and Petrino bothe got to Auburn in '02 so you might just want to edit the year on the OP

That's right. I kept thinking abou the PSU game and knew it was in 03...after the 02 season.

That would be 2002.
In 2003 we had Chizik as DC and the Evil Nallsminger Entity as OC.
Neither Hugh Nall nor Steve Ensminger are gainfully employed in a football capacity at this time. Long may it fricking last.

I'm pretty sure Ensminger is the TEs coach at LSU.

I thought Farmer Fran was coaching the TE's for LSU.

He is, and I laughed when they hired him. Worthless coach in every sense of the word.
Him, Nall, and Knox helped bring about the end of the Tubs regime.

Holy shite.
Hopefully that's a role that entails no responsibility or football knowledge on the LSU staff.
I'll give him one thing though... unlike that a-hole Hugh Nall, Steve Ensminger was a quality recruiter.

I think Miles and Carr were on the michigan staff at the same time in the late '80s and were both in bcs games in '06.

Stoops and Ferentz were on Hayden Fry's staff in 83. Both coached in BCS games in 2003

Not college, but Ferentz and Saban were on the Browns staff in 93&94. Both coached in BCS games in 2010.
