gpa isn't so tough, it's the ACT/SAT scores you need. just getting a 26-27 on the ACT puts you in the top 15-20% of the kids taking the test around the country. and in most cases the people taking the ACT have plans for college and aren't the marginal types that are failing in public schools or what not.
