Yeah, Broyles did pick Altman and Tubberville only to be undermined by "the real AD" John White who had the goal to deemphasize sports in favor of promoting academics. I guess he planned on accomplishing this by repeated shitty hires, you have to keep a close eye on Long after the Bowden/Grobe/Pelphrey debacle...

honestly I haven't completely given up on Pel yet but I would much rather have had Bill Self
