Back in my day, the basketball only schools were class B and the almighty Southside Rebels coached by Barry Lunney were in the top class, 5A.

I went to Farmington and while I was in high school we were bumped from 2A to 3A when the basketball only schools asked to no longer be called Class B. They moved to A and we were bumped to AAA.
