getting blue chip offensive guys isn't going to help out a very talentless and horribly coached defense. the offense is already excellent.

Its called reloading talent. Just because you have a deficiency on one side of the ball doesn't mean you stop recruiting on the other side.

But we must maintain that excellence.

TE DJ williams will be going to the pros this year and Childs could go early as well.


I've read alot of comparisons to Childs in regards to Funderburk. Plus Funderurk is an inch or 2 taller.

So, should the Hogs should quit recruiting great offensive talent until we improve the defense. That makes a hell of a lot of sense. Damn. The idiocy of some posts is beyond believable. The defense has improved each year under Petrino and will continue to do so. You do realize that some of our best defensive talent are freshman and sophomores, don't you?
