I normally do this when someone says "we" are going to do something I don't wanna do.
I don't understand the context you are using it in. But then again you probably refer to Oxford as "Oxpatch"

identification is one of the three major movers of human activity.
differentiation, desire and identification.
most of the TD identify as from a state, a race, a religion, a region, and many as being a member of a political party as though it is inherited.
they identify with the team, too.
My daughter, then 6, looked at the tv screen with basketball players on it and said, "Which one are we, dad?".
