Bama didn't blow everyone out, but they won most of their games comfortably. Auburn, Tennessee, and I guess Texas were the only ones where they seemed like they were in danger late. Their defense was much better than Auburn's, which makes a huge difference. Auburn has given up almost 25 points a game, which is atrocious for any team with title aspirations. They've already given up more points than Bama did all of last season.

And LSU had the lead in the 4th quarter, but let's not go into that game
. Virginia Tech trailed by 3 in the 4th quarter too. How history re-writes itself is pretty incredible.
