why can't anyone else see that when a pass play is called, the players suddenly act like they've never played football before:
line up offsides
drop a pass that hits you in the hands
run the wrong route
fumble
throw when you're past the line of scrimmage
intentional grounding
throw an interception
miss blocking assignment
hold

Coaches are responsible for having players focused and ready to execute.

You don't do it for one game (ala the Saints loss vs Falcons) you are allowed to place blame on the players.

If it goes on for multiple years, it's coaching.

this response was totally predictable. every football player at every level of competition knows to not do these things. also, this hasn't gone on multiple years. it's been a year and a half. in '08 the offense was good with the exception of lee's dubious record.
