Truer words were never spoken. DD must be wondering "WTH did I get into?" right about now.

From UT: Pearl says "I have no tolerable answer for why I didn't tell the truth the 1st time."

wasn't he blackballed for like a decade for turning another program or person in to the NCAA? I bet they're enjoying this now.

UT = cheatin' arse bastards not only in football, or baseball....but in basketball too!

Ole Pearl is up for a Grammy and an Oscar for his performance in front of the microphone. He almost cried not once, but twice.

I'm not celebrating. When Lane took a fantastic dump on you guys, I laughed my arse off because of all the shite he was talking, and all the shite UT fans were talking.

When all the drama he caused hit afterward, I chuckled.

Now it's just fricking sad. Dooley seems like a good guy, and he walked into a horrible situation.

Because Lane Kiffen and Ed Orgeron used to coach at UT.

I don't see you guys getting the death penalty, but it is getting ugly.

Why the hell is Kiffin still allowed to coach?

Yeah, it ain't gonna be pretty. And on top of everything else, they can really thank their biggest fan, the lady who owns the bar that went on radio and TV telling everyone she gave the team benefits and discounts at her hole in the wall the day after the players decided to fight with a cop. Bright bunch. Where's Roy when they need him? Oh yeah, retired in Tennessee.

At this time, the possible violations of recruiting and extra-benefit legislation occurred primarily during the 2008-09 through 2009-10 academic years. However, please note that new information often is developed during an investigation that leads to expanded inquiries. In the event such information is developed, you will be kept informed.

From the LOI.

It's going to get ugly

There continues to be optimism regarding the NCAA's inquiry into the Vols' football program, with a general feeling that any findings of wrongdoing will be minimal and likely mitigated by the fact that any potential transgressors no longer are members of UT's football staff. Further, the fact that UT officials acted swiftly and decisively to address the matter also bodes well for Tennessee. The feeling continues to be findings are likely to be along the lines of secondary violations.

GTFO.
