But, Indiana basketball player Steve Alford was suspended one game in 1984 for letting his picture be used on a calender which was being sold for charitable purposes. I don't see how signing stuff to be sold for a pee wee (assumption) football team is different. I'd hope the rule had been modified, but I do not know.

It was changed when 9 Ga football players sold their SEC Championship rings that they were given back in the early 2000's.
