Hopefully he lives up to the hype. I'm beginning to think it's going to be hard for him to live up to the expectations given to him by fans and the media.

Brantley is going to be really good this year. Better than most anticipate.

Agree

I'm not nervous about his ability, because I've seen what he's capable of in limited action. The only thing that worries me is that I haven't seen him play against a Bama or LSU type defense.

Will have a better throwing motion than Tim, but, with all of Tim's records, including the SEC career Pass Efficiency record, I think it's unfair to say at this point that Brantley will be a better QB.

He will still be a hell of a QB IMO.

winners win if he has the intelligence to make reads quickly he will be fine. The key to beating us this yr is keeping us out of your backfield. Do that and you will beat us dont and we will hurt you.

The cleanliness of Brantley's jersey over the course of the season will determine how far Florida can go in 2010.

Florida returns 4 starters on the OL.

76 Marcus Gilbert T 6' 5" 320 RSR 3L
73 Xavier Nixon T 6' 5" 300 SO 1L
57 Carl Johnson G 6' 5" 355 RSR 3L
55 Mike Pouncey C 6' 4" 310 SR 3L

The 2 guys fighting for the last guard spot have a lot of experience.

74 Maurice Hurt G 6' 3" 320 RSR 3L
66 James Wilson G 6' 3" 315 RJR 2L

Also, Florida returns Patchan from injury. He was the starter last year at LT.

71 Matt Patchan T 6' 6" 292 RSO 2L

Providing depth are some talented guys:

50 Sam Robey C 6' 4" 293 RSO 1L
58 Nick Alajajian C 6' 4" 295 RFR SQ
78 David Young G 6' 4" 304 RSO 1L
67 Jon Halapio G 6' 3" 312 RFR SQ
72 Jonotthan Harrison G 6' 3" 300 RFR SQ

Halapio is actually pushing for immediate playing time.
