might take a few years but the VOLs will bounce back. all great programs do eventually. too many people care about it not too

UT as a program has everything going for them except for one and that is a large in state recruiting base. It is extremely tough to stay on top when you have to get all of your players from out of state and most of those other states keep their kids at home.
During Tennessee's run in the late 90's early 2000's, they got most of their players from 3 states whose programs were all average at the time: Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia. Now those states do a pretty good job of keeping players home.
UT will always be solid, but I don't see them ever being what they were.....kind of like Nebraska.
