Why would he want the headache and to take a step down in terms of position. As a successful HC at Alabama, he's the most popular person in the state. To put it in perspective, Bear Bryant has a museum, streets, stadium and awards named after him. I don't think a former governor can claim that much fame. Although, I think Guy Hunt has a rest stop named after him somewhere near Decatur.

Reminds me of a story from after the 1992 presidential election. Ross Perot's wife was asked how she felt about Ross not winning the election. Her response was something along the lines of "I'm actually relieved. I didn't want to have to move into a smaller house than what we have now, and one in a worse neighborhood at that."

In addition to the Gov. Guy Hunt shitatorium, there is the Gov. Wallace Golden Firehose award..the Gov. Fob James semi-annual Head Injury Cup..& the Gov. Seiglman Memorial Sticky Fingers Plaque.

I think the Gov. Saban "I don't have time for this shite" Award would fit in nicely.
