Donnan averaged 8.75 wins his last 4 years (10,9,8,8). Richt has averaged 9.5 (9,11,10,8)

Try doing the percentages. Richt coached more games in 4 years than Donnan did in 4 so it makes since he won more games.

WHAT!? WHY NOT!? What did he ever win? Oh yeah, he won 10 games ONCE and won the outback bowl. Richt has at least WON something of substance.

His first year was damage control from the wreck Goff left him. He didn't get much of a chnce to put his stamp on the program. Richt can thank him for Greene, Pollack and every other start that turned our program around in 2002. He should have had 2 more years to make it or break it.

Part of being a "competent" head coach, as you like to say, is surrounding yourself with good coaches. Who exactly do you think HIRED van gorder?

CMR's initial hires were awesome and I said so many times. He fricked up when he thought he could develop coaches and promote from within. We all saw how that worked out.

WHEW! Good thing that coaches aren't evaluated based on 4 year periods. People usually use, ya know, their whole careers.

Actually Donnan was. Yeah it was 5 years.

Let's keep going against 2 main rivals:

Donnan may very well still be our coach if Jasper Sanks is not called for the Non-Fumble.

Also Donnan coached agianst O'Leary who was a much better coach against UGA than Gailey. He is 1-1 against CPJ at GT.

Richt's ship has sailed my friend. All we can do is sit back and watch the fate of Fat Phil Fulmer played out all over again.
