Arnett Moultrie a 6'11" 225 PF from UTEP is looking to transfer after the coaching change there (UTEP coach went to Auburn).
This guy would be a HUGE pickup if Stansbury can get him to come to State.

What are you Arkansas fans hearing about this kid?
Didnt yall just get a 6'11" kid to commit? Hopefully our lack of big men will give us the edge.

He isn't a center. He is like a Dirk tall and can shoot.

Local AAU coach on radio here in Memphis last night said Moultrie is deciding between UT, UTwest, Memphis, Kentucky, State, and Arkansas.
All signs point to Memphis even if he wouldn't be allowed on scholarship next year. He is eligible for just about every federal grant based on his families economic situation, so it's not really that much of a difference.

mm interesting conf usa team over 2 big 12 schools and 3 sec schools

He's from Memphis, and Memphis while a C-USA school hasn't been competing at a mid major level. He wouldn't be on scholly at Memphis until 2012, I'd love to have him at UT. I'm just saying according to the local recruiting basketball expert and his former AAU coach Memphis is in the drivers seat

This guy was on campus yesterday and we were on his list in '07. Combine that with UTEP protecting him and things don't look too bad. And he gets to face off with Renardo Sidney at practice. That's a big selling point.
